White Paper Launch
What’s the future hold for Canada’s public relations
professionals? What new challenges are you grappling with in your work? Take a
moment to join our national conversation on the future of PR.
The CPRS has
released a new white paper, The elevation of public relations: A discussion paper on a profession's present – and its possible future. Written by Dan Tisch, APR, FCPRS in collaboration with senior public relations
professionals from across the country, the paper examines the 'megatrends' prevalent in public relations today and discusses the role public relations can
play in helping organizations build better relationships with consumers,
audiences and stakeholders.
From a renewed focus
on data and analytics to becoming better listeners and managing an explosion of
content, the white paper explores what Canada’s public relations professionals
need to do to help build relationships, support their organizations and address
the integration of marketing and public relations.
Your responses to the Leger survey on the Future of PR and
will be used with the white paper to develop a new strategic framework for the CPRS,
designed to meet the needs of Canada's public relations professionals today and
well into the future.
