The Coordinator of Communications and Social Advocacy role holds accountabilities in four major areas: (a) Media Relations (b) Internal & External Communications (c) Event Management and (d) Social Advocacy. Reporting to the Director of Public Relations and Community Engagement, this position’s focus is to protect and cultivate ACWS’ brand to ensure ACWS is a go-to source for media and government stakeholders, support the organization to reach its public awareness goals, manage public awareness and organizational events , and support the work to improve services to better meet the needs of abused women and their families.
