Job Description

Are you a professional with a passion for webpage development with the ability to create new forms and templates? If so, this is your opportunity to join MacEwan University as a Web Content Developer in Administrative Services.

This position provides administrative and project support for the intranet redevelopment project within the University Services division and is primarily responsible for writing and developing all intranet content (direct or indirectly) within the scope of the project.  Additional responsibilities include conducting audits and gathering information to meet stakeholder requirements, creating templates, developing new forms, and writing procedures.

This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.

Employment Category:  Full-Time Term (1 year)

Salary Range: $40,901.19 to $53,171.56 per annum

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary education in marketing and/or communications or equivalent, complemented by 2-3 years related experience in website project management/coordination. Demonstrated experience in web layout and content design with strong copywriting skills are required. Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe LiveCycle, and content management systems are essential. Candidates should also have strong organizational skills with excellent verbal/written communication; knowledge of internet and related technologies; and proven effective time management skills with a results orientated attitude. The capability to work accurately under tight deadlines with multiple priorities and strong interpersonal skills are required, as this position works with multiple stakeholders.
